How Flag Quiz Pro processes data

Local data on the device

The app stores game progress locally, including XP, coins, highscores, streaks, completed rounds, achievements, progress by continent, mastered countries, incorrectly answered countries for mistake training, language settings, the status of the purchase to permanently remove ads, and technical counters for voluntary rewarded ads and ad frequency caps.

This local data is generally not transferred to Plyxxo Studios. You can delete it by clearing the app data in Android system settings or uninstalling the app.

App permissions

The app requires internet access to load country and flag data, display ads, process in-app purchases and transmit analytics or crash reports. The app currently does not use permissions for camera, microphone, contacts, calendar, SMS or precise location data.

AppLovin MAX advertising

The app uses AppLovin MAX by AppLovin Corporation to display and mediate advertising. Depending on device, region, consent and ad configuration, AppLovin MAX may process advertising IDs, IP address and approximate location derived from it, device information, app information, ad views, interactions, impressions, clicks, diagnostics, fraud prevention and performance data.

The purposes are ad delivery, ad performance measurement, fraud prevention, frequency capping and rewarded-ad rewards. Personalized advertising and tracking only take place where legally required consent has been given. Legal bases may include Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR and, where applicable, Section 25 TDDDG. Technically necessary processing, fraud prevention, security and billing may be based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.

Rewarded ads and remove ads purchase

Rewarded ads are voluntary ads started only after active user interaction. They may grant coins or a second chance. The in-app product remove_ads_lifetime removes banner, interstitial and app-open advertising where used. Voluntary rewarded ads may still be offered because they are started actively and trigger a direct reward.

Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics

The app may use Firebase Analytics to understand app usage and improve features, balance, stability, monetization and user experience. Events may include quiz starts, answered questions, completed rounds, used hints, unlocked achievements, ad opt-ins and purchases.

The app may use Firebase Crashlytics to detect and fix crashes and technical issues. Crashlytics may process stack traces, crash reports, app and device state at the time of a crash, operating system, app version, device type and a Crashlytics installation UUID.

Google Play Billing

In-app purchases are processed through Google Play Billing. Payment information such as credit card data is processed by Google and is not transmitted to Plyxxo Studios. The app may receive and store purchase-related information such as product ID, purchase status, purchase token or technical confirmation data to provide purchased features.

REST Countries API and flag sources

The app loads country and flag data through the REST Countries API and flag images through API-provided sources or FlagCDN fallback URLs. When loading content, technical connection data such as IP address, request time, network-level device information and requested URLs may be processed by those providers. Plyxxo Studios does not transmit account data, quiz answers, coins or player profiles to those services.

Children, recipients and international transfers

The app is not specifically directed at children under 13 and is planned as a general quiz and learning game for users aged 13 and above. Personal data may be transferred to AppLovin and mediation partners, Google Ireland Limited or Google LLC for Firebase, Crashlytics, Analytics and Google Play Billing, technical infrastructure and content providers, and authorities or courts where legally required.

Some providers may process data outside the EU or EEA, especially in the USA. Where data is transferred to third countries, this is done according to applicable legal requirements such as adequacy decisions, standard contractual clauses or other safeguards under Art. 44 ff. GDPR.

Retention, legal bases and rights

Local game data remains on your device until you clear app data or uninstall the app. Crash, analytics and advertising data is retained by the respective third-party providers according to their own retention periods. Purchase-related data may be stored as long as required to provide purchased features, restore purchases and comply with legal obligations.

Depending on purpose, processing may be based on consent, contract performance, legal obligations or legitimate interests under Art. 6 (1) GDPR.
